In our morning worship service January 17th, we gave an opportunity for our church family to respond to the incredible tragedy that took place in Haiti. You have responded in amazing ways, both through prayer and through giving. As of Sunday evening, our offering totaled over $1033! What incredible generosity from hearts full of love.

General superintendent, missionaries safely evacuated from Haiti South Florida

NCN News has just learned that General Superintendent J. K. Warrick, Field Strategy Coordinator Bill Dawson, his wife, Martha, and Nazarene volunteer Rachel Reed were able to leave Port-au-Prince, Haiti, at approximately 6:45 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. They are on board an aircraft provided by a missions aviation service. The group is expected to land sometime after 11 P.M. in South Florida.
This information was confirmed by General Secretary David P. Wilson.
"Wilson expressed appreciation for the prayers of Nazarenes, and urged continuing prayer for the people of Haiti."

Montana Avenue Nazarene Church is the host to a Compassionate Ministry called Westside Hope, Inc. Their ministry is focusing on showing God's love to the Westwood community in a tangible way. The primary ministry is a food pantry, which is available to our community on Sunday mornings (9:30 until 12 noon) and Wednesday evenings (7 p.m. until 8 p.m.) Please note that there are guidelines to receiving this help, and it is subject to availability.
